Nemesio Diegotxe might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicanor Ostadar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nemesio Diegotxe ran back to his position shaking his head. If Israel Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Bibiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Coco Roots players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guañacos AFC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nemesio Diegotxe to strike the kick off in the second half. Guañacos AFC's Nicanor Ostadar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Diegotxe in the 54th minute of play. If Maximo Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Diegotxe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicanor Ostadar was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Guañacos AFC's Israel Herensuge got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristo Louis struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Saul Bibiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guañacos AFC. Israel Herensuge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Bibiano having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Inocencio Semeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Israel Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saul Bibiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Semeno in the 92nd minute of the match. Coco Roots's Saul Bibiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Coco Roots from getting a goal against them.
