The tension between the Carrodilla AFC and the Aldea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Generoso Vigil might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto Rafe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Vigil ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Elizardo during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Aldea booed when Carrodilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Elizardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Nesor charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Alberto Rafe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Vigil's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Justino Santiago. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Justino Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Tavio in the 64th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Aldea got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Abechuco. In the 67th minute Horacio Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Bernaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carrodilla AFC's zone, Braulio Maria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Rafe came out of the goal and Braulio Maria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Horacio Tavio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justino Santiago was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 98 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Laurin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justino Santiago. Aldea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Laurin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Aldea's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Carrodilla AFC had won, even though Aldea had held more of the ball.
