After 4 played minutes Pituil FC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Michael. Ricardo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Michael in the 10th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Santos Urki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Cruz. RIVER PLATE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Urki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Santos Urki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pituil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Urki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Cruz came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pituil FC's Dante Artaldo. But to his dismay, Dante Artaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some careless play in the RIVER PLATE defense, Dante Artaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Cruz. The RIVER PLATE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Cruz should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Pituil FC booed when RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eloy Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Iruinea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Semeno having to interfere. If Dante Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The RIVER PLATE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pituil FC were winning 0-3.

Serafin Iruinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Edgardo Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Artaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Ricardo Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante Artaldo. Dante Artaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Artaldo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Ricardo Cruz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Lázaro Raymond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafin Iruinea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Edgardo Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pituil FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
