The corner led Roosevelt FC's Erasmo Aragones to fire away a dangerous shot which Hermengildo Chico despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hermengildo Chico had great luck who in the 15thth minute grab hold of the ball when Erasmo Aragones from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 17th minute Erasmo Aragones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Jorrin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Abeijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ambrosio Jorrin came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester United's Justino Abeijon. But to his dismay, Justino Abeijon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ambrosio Jorrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Reynardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Damian Reynardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Jorrin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The goalkeeper, Hermengildo Chico, was totally fooled by Roosevelt FC's Erasmo Aragones, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

Damian Reynardo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ambrosio Jorrin came out and tried to block the shot, but Damian Reynardo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Aragones in the 58th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Hermengildo Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. Manchester United's Edgardo Mederi shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ambrosio Jorrin but with some difficulty. Lázaro Duarte hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Damaso Jax ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermengildo Chico was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 81st minute Damaso Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermengildo Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Chico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Aragones in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Aragones came free, but Hermengildo Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Roosevelt FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Jorrin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cayetano Toli. With a little luck, Roosevelt FC's Ambrosio Jorrin got control of the ball when Nunez Iruinea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damaso Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Chico having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Roosevelt FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Manchester United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
