Roosevelt FC's Ambrosio Jorrin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Roosevelt FC from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the game, Omar Onofre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hoffenheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roosevelt FC the free kick. Omar Onofre kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Damaso Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Resto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Roosevelt FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Erasmo Aragones hit a great ball. Ambrosio Jorrin was a little too slow when Edelmiro Bertol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 32 minutes, Damaso Jax made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hoffenheim's Jacinto Resto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jacinto Resto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Jax, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Geronimo Hustaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Resto. Hoffenheim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geronimo Hustaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Hoffenheim players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Roosevelt FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Damaso Jax made the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Resto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Jax in the 54th minute. The corner ended in Erasmo Aragones almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hoffenheim's Jacinto Resto did a great save. Jacinto Resto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Aragones's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. If Damaso Jax had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Roosevelt FC's Erasmo Aragones slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacinto Resto. That made the score 1-3 after 63 minutes of play. In the 65th minute, Flavio Donzel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Roosevelt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Laurin came free, but Ambrosio Jorrin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Laurin in the 75th minute of play forced Roosevelt FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Jorrin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Marcial Maura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 81 minutes, Erasmo Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roosevelt FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Aragones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Jax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Jacinto Resto made a huge save. Jacinto Resto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erasmo Aragones showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 83 minute of play. Ambrosio Jorrin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Laurin in the 88th minute of play. Ruben Domiku kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Jacinto Resto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damaso Jax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Resto having to interfere. Roosevelt FC played a much better game than Hoffenheim and deserved their victory. The Hoffenheim players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
