The Hoffenheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Geronimo Enmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pintita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Enmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geronimo Enmanuel struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jacinto Resto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pintita FC. Joel Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicolas Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Bertol in the 24th minute of play. If Geronimo Enmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arsenio Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edelmiro Bertol in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Cordara saved Pintita FC from getting behind. Maximiliano Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Resto having to interfere. Guaberto Laurin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Joel Phelipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Hoffenheim's Jacinto Resto got control of the ball when Maximiliano Emesto tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Joel Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guaberto Laurin was the one to do the kick off. Nicolas Cordara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Laurin in the 53rd minute of play. Jacinto Resto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Phelipe in the 56th minute of play. Hoffenheim's Jacinto Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Emesto in the 58th minute of play. When Arsenio Medina was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. A collision led to Hoffenheim getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Arsenio Medina hit a great ball. Joel Phelipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Resto having to interfere. Geronimo Enmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jacinto Resto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Resto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Resto came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Pintita FC's Joel Phelipe. But to his dismay, Joel Phelipe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Joel Phelipe succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. When Omar Onofre fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoffenheim's protests and gave Omar Onofre a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Phelipe in the 88th minute of play forced Hoffenheim's goalkeeper Jacinto Resto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Pintita FC's goalkeeper Nicolas Cordara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Bertol.
