Fidel Oriol charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Oriol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Fidel Oriol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Teobaldo Tolino sped through Rankanow's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cleto Jerardo. 32 minutes into the game, Emiliano Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rankanow's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zárate the free kick. Emiliano Rubio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Alejo Licerio made the kick off in the second half. Silvano Florin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, Zárate's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Rubio came free, but Modesto Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rankanow's Cleto Jerardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Tolino in the 55th minute of play. Edelmiro Macerio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Cleto Jerardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alejo Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Modesto Pere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zárate's Modesto Pere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Oriol in the 61st minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Zárate's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Licerio came free, but Modesto Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Jerardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Tolino in the 78th minute of the match. Rankanow's Cleto Jerardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Tolino in the 79th minute of play. If Edelmiro Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zárate's Teobaldo Tolino got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Tolino in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Jerardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edelmiro Macerio struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Cleto Jerardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zárate. Cleto Jerardo made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Edelmiro Macerio sent off a good shot on target. Alejo Licerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Pere having to interfere. Edelmiro Macerio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Macerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Rankanow fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Zárate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
