In the 15th minute Alfonso Estavan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Ponce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, LOS GUERREROS's goalkeeper Virgilio Maura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amador Lluc. Gustavo Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Azevedo in the 22nd minute of the match. After 27 played minutes LOS GUERREROS got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Cugat. After a defensive mix-up in LOS GUERREROS's zone, Amador Lluc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Maura came out of the goal and Amador Lluc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Alfonso Estavan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS GUERREROS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Abar couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Talacasto FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Ponce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Chago. In the 88th match minute, Talacasto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Librado to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Ponce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Estavan's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Placido Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Ponce having to make a save. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talacasto FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Ponce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A well placed Alfonso Estavan short distance shot in the 99th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. When the match was over LOS GUERREROS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Talacasto FC throughout the match.
