In the 14th minute Alfonso Estavan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Ilazki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Napoli JS's goalkeeper Damaso Ilazki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Chago. The corner led LOS GUERREROS's Dario Chago to fire away a dangerous shot which Damaso Ilazki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Alfonso Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Genaro Cordarin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Napoli JS's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Cordarin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Estavan in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Ilazki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 played minutes Napoli JS got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Gaspard. Alfonso Estavan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damaso Ilazki having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Alfonso Estavan made the kick off in the second half. Damaso Ilazki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Chago went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Zeledon Gaspard's late challenge caught a LOS GUERREROS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Gaspard helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Napoli JS's Prudencio Ignado got a free kick in the 65th minute. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Alfonso Estavan sped through Napoli JS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damaso Ilazki. In the 72nd minute, LOS GUERREROS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erubiel Inguma fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 76 minutes, Genaro Cordarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napoli JS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Cordarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Placido Azevedo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Napoli JS booed when LOS GUERREROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 minutes, Dalmacio Ermano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS GUERREROS and the Napoli JS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Estavan in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Ilazki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that LOS GUERREROS were the better team. LOS GUERREROS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
