Desiderio Derwin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candido Domeka went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Eriberto Tabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Defensores de Tolkien's Adan Jaen in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alagón FC's goalie prevented a goal. Adan Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hilario Lehior was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Adan Jaen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adan Jaen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Desiderio Derwin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Tabb in the 22nd minute of play. If Candido Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Alagón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Tomi came free, but Hilario Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Adan Jaen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes Defensores de Tolkien got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Bakar. With a little luck, Alagón FC's Hilario Lehior got control of the ball when Nemesio Bakar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adan Jaen to make the kick off. Nemesio Bakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Hilario Lehior tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Adan Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Tolkien's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Lehior breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nemesio Bakar came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Defensores de Tolkien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Bakar couldn't finish the play. Adan Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Lehior having to interfere. Nemesio Bakar struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Hilario Lehior didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Tolkien. 89 minutes into the match, Alagón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Jaen came free, but Hilario Lehior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Desiderio Derwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
