Paulino Bela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Lehior read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Paulino Bela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilario Lehior having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Empalme FC's Benjamin Nardo got a free kick in the 16th minute. Hilario Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Bela in the 19th minute of the match. Alagón FC's Hilario Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Bela in the 23rd minute of play. Teofilo Ubarna charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilo Ubarna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Teofilo Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Empalme FC's Niceto Elequemedo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alagón FC. Hilario Lehior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Miro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Bela in the 29th minute of play forced Alagón FC's goalkeeper Hilario Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Bela in the 30th minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Empalme FC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Oro. In the 35th minute, Benjamin Nardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Tiadoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Tabb in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Bela in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilario Lehior saved Alagón FC from getting behind. When Empalme FC's Paulino Bela in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alagón FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Paulino Bela came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Empalme FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Bela couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Tabb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Txomin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Hilario Lehior made a huge save. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alagón FC's goalkeeper Hilario Lehior, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Empalme FC's Niceto Elequemedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilario Lehior narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elvio Tiadoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Tabb in the 61st minute of the match. If Niceto Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Empalme FC's Santo Oro got a free kick in the 65th minute. 68 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Empalme FC's Paulino Bela fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Hilario Lehior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Alagón FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eduardo Sabin hit a great ball. Paulino Bela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Niceto Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Empalme FC's Paulino Bela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hilario Lehior. Hilario Lehior yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Niceto Elequemedo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Hilario Lehior didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empalme FC. Hilario Lehior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Bela, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Benjamin Nardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Lehior having to interfere. Benjamin Nardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hilario Lehior tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Paulino Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Lehior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Bela in the 93rd minute of the match. Niceto Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Empalme FC played a much better game than Alagón FC and deserved their victory. The Alagón FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
