Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gustavo Lehior got the match started through his kick off. After 6 played minutes Alfonso Estavan rounded Herrera's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Alfonso Estavan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Saturnino Cebo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute of the match Fermin Bixintxo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Maura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Gustavo Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Estefan in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Maura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of LOS GUERREROS booed when Herrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Estefan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfonso Estavan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Saturnino Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Chago in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Herrera got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Berdaitz. After a rather tough play, Herrera's Valentin Burni got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Alfonso Estavan struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Saturnino Cebo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LOS GUERREROS. Herrera's Saturnino Cebo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Herrera from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Estavan made a kick off. Guillermo Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gavino Estefan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Estavan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saturnino Cebo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Alfonso Estavan managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOS GUERREROS's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Estavan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Cebo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Lehior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Maura having to interfere. Virgilio Maura made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gavino Estefan sent off a good shot on target. After 74 minutes, Placido Azevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS GUERREROS and the Herrera players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Herrera booed when LOS GUERREROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Carolo Berdaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Herrera's Carolo Berdaitz got a free kick in the 77th minute. Anselmo Llorienzo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gavino Estefan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Maura having to interfere. Herrera's Baltasar Quinto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Virgilio Maura but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Estavan in the 96th minute of play forced Herrera's goalkeeper Saturnino Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Herrera's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dario Chago was slow to take the kick. During this time LOS GUERREROS's players had a chance to rest. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LOS GUERREROS had played much better football throughout.
