In the 16th minute, Virgilio Salbatore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaristo Ted was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Hilario Dolfos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Ted came out and tried to block the shot, but Virgilio Salbatore slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 66th minute. Natalio Berart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hipolito Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Papá del Sin Aliento's Segundo Eguen got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Segundo Eguen off the ground.
