To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damaso Ilazki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Manex in the 78th minute of the match. Gustavo Ponce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Inguma in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Zeledon Gaspard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napoli JS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Gaspard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Talacasto FC's Gustavo Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Inguma in the 90th minute of play. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Talacasto FC to win.
