Niceto Elequemedo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Paulino Bela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Saturnino Cebo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Txomin struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Saturnino Cebo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empalme FC. Empalme FC's Elvio Tiadoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Lehior in the 14th minute of play. Saturnino Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Bela in the 16th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Paulino Bela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saturnino Cebo. Herrera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Bela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 28th minute, Baltasar Quinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixto Ferran kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Herrera's Anselmo Llorienzo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Empalme FC. After a defensive mix-up in Herrera's zone, Paulino Bela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Cebo came out of the goal and Paulino Bela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Niceto Elequemedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saturnino Cebo was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. 40 minutes into the match, Gustavo Lehior dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elvio Tiadoro, 2-1. The supporters of Herrera booed when Empalme FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Lluc didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 51stth minute of the game Santo Oro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herrera's Saturnino Cebo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Miro in the 52nd minute of play forced Herrera's goalkeeper Saturnino Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Empalme FC booed when Herrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Burni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herrera's goalkeeper Saturnino Cebo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Saturnino Cebo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Saturnino Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Bela in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Bela in the 75th minute of play forced Herrera's goalkeeper Saturnino Cebo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulino Bela kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saturnino Cebo. That made the score 2-3 in the 80 minute of play. In the 83rd minute Paulino Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Cebo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Cebo having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Herrera got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Burni. Saturnino Cebo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Bela in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paulino Bela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saturnino Cebo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When Honorato Miro came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Empalme FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Miro couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Txomin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Saturnino Cebo made a huge save. Saturnino Cebo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Bela in the 95th minute of the match. Saturnino Cebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Empalme FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Herrera throughout the match.
