Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Bruno Chico charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Chico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes C.S.D Catalina got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Chico. 7 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Stanislao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobocó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.S.D Catalina the free kick. The supporters of C.S.D Catalina booed when Lobocó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Stanislao didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Christian Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lobocó's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Ponc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Romeo Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lobocó's Claudio Guifre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Ladio in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Agustin Nalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobocó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Nalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gogo Ponc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Duarte in the 25th minute. With his leg Gogo Ponc managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Lobocó's Christian Duarte fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 31 minutes into the match, C.S.D Catalina's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Nalo came free, but Gogo Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Nalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gogo Ponc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The Lobocó fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Lobocó's Christian Duarte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Claudio Guifre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Ladio in the 44th minute of the match. Aldo Bonadona was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lobocó fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Arsenio Etxepare walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Gogo Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Nalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Bruno Chico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Ladio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Guifre having to interfere. Agustin Nalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Agustin Nalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Nalo in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gogo Ponc saved C.S.D Catalina from getting behind. If Bruno Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Bruno Chico came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the C.S.D Catalina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Chico couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, C.S.D Catalina's Romeo Ladio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Guifre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Bruno Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lobocó getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ciriaco Stanislao hit a great ball. Gogo Ponc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciriaco Stanislao went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Bruno Chico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Guifre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Claudio Guifre made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Bruno Chico sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lobocó fans cheered their team off the field, for while C.S.D Catalina had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
