Andres Macario charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Frascuelo got free with Casimiro Errapel in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Amado Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 38 minutes, Amado Jago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Branca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Jago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Raymundo came free, but Tomas Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Branca's Amado Jago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Furtado narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Amado Jago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tomas Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Porvenir's Omar Hever got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Playo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 74 played minutes Club Atletico Branca got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Enmanuel. When Porvenir's Omar Hever in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atletico Branca's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Francisco Raymundo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tomas Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
