La Humildad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Francis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucas Rufo's late challenge caught a Porvenir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Rufo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Humildad getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lucas Rufo hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Porvenir's Rene Sol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tomas Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Txeru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Guillen made a great header on La Humildad's corner, it was just that Porvenir's Tomas Furtado managed to reach the ball for a save. Humberto Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tomas Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Porvenir's goalkeeper Tomas Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Francis. After a defensive mix-up in Porvenir's zone, Bruno Francis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Furtado came out of the goal and Bruno Francis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Txeru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fermin Haitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Porvenir. If Humberto Txeru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Humberto Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marcos Frascuelo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porvenir's protests and gave Marcos Frascuelo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Porvenir's Marcos Frascuelo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Tomas Furtado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Francis in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Hever was the one to do the kick off. Omar Hever might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fermin Haitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Hever ran back to his position shaking his head. After 56 played minutes La Humildad got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Francis. Tomas Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Francis in the 63rd minute of the match. La Humildad's Nemesio Patrido pulled a muscle in his back after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 79 played minutes Porvenir got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Frascuelo. In the 81st minute, Alberto Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Sol hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. La Humildad's Fermin Haitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save La Humildad from getting a goal against them. Ladislao Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Haitz having to interfere. Ladislao Lehoi scored 1-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fermin Haitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
