The audience was convinced that Eulalio Timo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Lauren was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Mariano Rivero made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Arturo Tohias sent off a good shot on target. MMCE FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, PintDogs's goalkeeper Mariano Rivero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Tohias. Mariano Rivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Demario in the 42nd minute of the match. Mariano Rivero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Tohias in the 45th minute.

In the 53rd minute Nicanor Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the PintDogs defense, Jairo Izotz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Rivero. The PintDogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Rivero should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Maurino during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of MMCE FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PintDogs:s goal. Ricardo Teodor shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eulalio Timo in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Lauren saved MMCE FC from getting behind. During the 65th minute of the match Valentin Maurino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Valentin Maurino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of PintDogs booed when MMCE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Maurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. When PintDogs's Eulalio Timo in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. PintDogs's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
