Iguazú's Anastasio Madaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Illan in the 10th minute of play. Iguazú's Anastasio Madaleno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Iguazú from getting a goal against them. If Eulalio Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Timo in the 17th minute of play forced Iguazú's goalkeeper Anastasio Madaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Iguazú's zone, Generoso Illan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Madaleno came out of the goal and Generoso Illan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Timo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Madaleno having to interfere. A collision led to PintDogs getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tiburcio Abascal hit a great ball. Generoso Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Madaleno having to interfere. Eulalio Timo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Madaleno having to interfere. Mariano Rivero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Oton, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by PintDogs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gogo Euloxu was slow to take the kick. During this time Iguazú's players had a chance to rest. In the 39th minute Eulalio Timo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Madaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Timo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Madaleno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Generoso Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Madaleno having to interfere. Mariano Rivero came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Iguazú's Saturnino Abadie. But to his dismay, Saturnino Abadie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eulalio Timo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of PintDogs booed when Iguazú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Abadie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Generoso Illan might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasio Madaleno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Illan ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, PintDogs's Generoso Illan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Madaleno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Generoso Illan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anastasio Madaleno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Generoso Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Anastasio Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Madaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Illan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, PintDogs's Generoso Illan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anastasio Madaleno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Eulalio Timo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PintDogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Timo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 played minutes Iguazú got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Abadie. Romulo Oton hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Generoso Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Anastasio Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Generoso Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the PintDogs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
