Severino Iratxo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in PintDogs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! Sergio Gar shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boca Jr! The referee gave PintDogs a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ricardo Teodor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Boca Jr's Emanuel Teodor. 0-1. In the 14th minute Eugenio Araoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Cordera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Mariano Rivero made a huge save. In the 21st match minute, PintDogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Abalos to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, PintDogs's goalkeeper Mariano Rivero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cirilo Cordera. In the 24th minute, Alfonso Atarrabi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mariano Rivero. The goal made the score 1-1. After 31st play minutes Eulalio Timo shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Emanuel Teodor and just under the crossbar into goal. When Eulalio Timo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the PintDogs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Timo couldn't finish the play. If Eulalio Timo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 45 minutes, Gervasio Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PintDogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Jacob was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eulalio Timo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Teodor having to interfere.

Gervasio Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. PintDogs's Eulalio Timo got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute of the match Sergio Gar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariano Rivero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Narciso Galoer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Teodor having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Alfonso Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Rivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Alvarez in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Alfonso Atarrabi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Rivero. PintDogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso Atarrabi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Atarrabi in the 69th minute of play forced PintDogs's goalkeeper Mariano Rivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Alvarez took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Rivero. Mariano Rivero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. When Eulalio Timo fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PintDogs's protests and gave Eulalio Timo a yellow card for diving instead. Eulalio Timo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Eulalio Timos short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Emanuel Teodor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Boca Jr's Emanuel Teodor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Jr from getting a goal against them. A hard shot by Generoso Illan from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Emanuel Teodor's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Emanuel Teodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Eugenio Araoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Jr's zone, Eulalio Timo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Teodor came out of the goal and Eulalio Timo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Boca Jr players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
