After 19 played minutes MMCE FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Tohias. In the 21stth minute of the game Nicanor Demario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Jr's Emanuel Teodor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Boca Jr's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Demario came free, but Emanuel Teodor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugenio Araoz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marco Lauren. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Marco Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Cordera, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Boca Jr's Emanuel Teodor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Tohias in the 44th minute of play. Diego Bermund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emanuel Teodor having to make a save. Emanuel Teodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Tohias, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Atarrabi in the 78th minute of play forced MMCE FC's goalkeeper Marco Lauren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
