In the 24th minute, one of Signos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Signos FC. After having played for 31 minutes, Ezequiel Goito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Signos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Goito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Frasco got free with Placido Bertol in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Federico Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Herena having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Olmos AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Signos FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
