In the 5th minute Flavio Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Patxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Gutxi's late challenge caught a Defensores de Belgrano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cayetano Gutxi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Defensores de Belgrano booed when REAL LIBANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Gutxi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Edgardo Venceslao fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores de Belgrano's protests and gave Edgardo Venceslao a yellow card for diving instead. Marcelino Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, REAL LIBANO's goalkeeper Edgardo Patxi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batıhan Baysal. Edgardo Patxi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Laffitte in the 30th minute of the match. With a little luck, REAL LIBANO's Edgardo Patxi got control of the ball when Batıhan Baysal tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Batıhan Baysal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Flavio Laffitte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batıhan Baysal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Edgardo Patxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Manilan in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Batıhan Baysal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batıhan Baysal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavio Laffitte made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Manilan during the 59th minute. Edgardo Patxi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Laffitte went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Flavio Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Batıhan Baysal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgardo Patxi. REAL LIBANO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Batıhan Baysal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Defensores de Belgrano's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
