The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 18th match minute, Corazzi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Hegoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Montrelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Bernabe Jakobe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corazzi's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Jakobe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Hegoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28 minutes, Dario Ubarna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corazzi and the Sola players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Corazzi getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dario Ubarna hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Mateo Chale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sola's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Chale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Olayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sola's Ramiro Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Jakobe in the 33rd minute of play. When Sola's Baldomero Jobo in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corazzi's goalie prevented a goal. Baldomero Jobo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Olayo having to make a save. In the 45th match minute, Corazzi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomero Jobo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sola's Victoriano Eufemio got a free kick in the 51st minute. Aaron Sesuldo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Corazzi's zone, Baldomero Jobo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Olayo came out of the goal and Baldomero Jobo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernabe Jakobe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Ramiro Hegoi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sola's Ramiro Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Montrelle in the 61st minute of play. Sola's Ramiro Hegoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Sola from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Jobo in the 71st minute of play forced Corazzi's goalkeeper Rodrigo Olayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Hegoi having to interfere. If Claudio Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes Sola got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Gagriel. In the 81st minute, Bernabe Jakobe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Hegoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Bernabe Jakobe came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Corazzi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Jakobe couldn't finish the play. Claudio Montrelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
