Conrado Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Gabino having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Coronda's goalkeeper Emilio Lonzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Coronda defense, Domingo Nardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilio Lonzo. The Coronda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Lonzo should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Cangallo AFC's Luisito Esquipula got a free kick in the 36th minute. Armando Gomesano's late challenge caught a Coronda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Gomesano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Armando Gomesano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Lonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Unai in the 40th minute of the match. Bernardino Unai hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes in the game, Conrado Idacio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hernan Gabino having to interfere. Emilio Lonzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardino Unai's shot from short distance in the 49th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardino Unai made a kick off. When Conrado Idacio came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Coronda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Idacio couldn't finish the play. Cangallo AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
