In the 29th minute, Cristo Donostia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Donostia in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Colas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristo Donostia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Colas having to make a save. 41 minutes into the game, Cristo Donostia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacaaglé's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azul y Oro FC the free kick. After 42 played minutes Tacaaglé got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Donostia. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristo Donostia to strike the kick off in the second half. Danilo Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bruno Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Donostia in the 73rd minute of play forced Azul y Oro FC's goalkeeper Bruno Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Azul y Oro FC got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Darien. In the 78th minute, Tacaaglé's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wilfredo Viviano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 80th minute of the match, Haroldo Lauro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Danilo Hondo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Haroldo Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Hondo having to interfere. Abelardo Giraldo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Wilfredo Viviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
