Froilan Cristofor hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Paul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bruno Colas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haroldo Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Paul in the 26th minute of play forced Azul y Oro FC's goalkeeper Bruno Colas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azul y Oro FC's Bruno Colas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Paul in the 27th minute of play. Nunez Honrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bruno Colas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clodoveo Paul in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Colas saved Azul y Oro FC from getting behind. When Haroldo Lauro came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Azul y Oro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Lauro couldn't finish the play. Bruno Colas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Honrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Guerrilla FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Azul y Oro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Honrio came free, but Bruno Colas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Maore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guerrilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azul y Oro FC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nunez Honrio in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Colas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Colas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clodoveo Paul showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 70 minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Nunez Honrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guerrilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Honrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Azul y Oro FC's Bruno Colas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Azul y Oro FC from getting a goal against them. Bruno Colas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Paul in the 91st minute. Clodoveo Paul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Bruno Colas made a huge save. Guerrilla FC's Clodoveo Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guerrilla FC played a much better game than Azul y Oro FC and deserved their victory. The Azul y Oro FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
