The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Tomas Quiroga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliciano Bilintx. Docta ED's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Quiroga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 8th minute Gavino Solustiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Gavino Solustiano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teodoro Bernaldo. The goal made the score 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Cristofol in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Bilintx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Docta ED's Agustin Larra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Federico Cristofol took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliciano Bilintx. Feliciano Bilintx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Quiroga to make the kick off. A collision led to UnionTate getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Artemio Jax hit a great ball. Gavino Solustiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Teodoro Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Docta ED's Agustin Larra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliciano Bilintx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Teodoro Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Larra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Gavino Solustiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Bernaldo. UnionTate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Solustiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in UnionTate's zone, Gavino Solustiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Bernaldo came out of the goal and Gavino Solustiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Docta ED's goalkeeper Feliciano Bilintx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Cristofol. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
