An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Dolcet in the 4th minute of play forced Mavericks's goalkeeper Melquiades Videl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Tacaaglé's Clodoveo Lazcano got a free kick in the 7th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Mavericks's Urbano Berart tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Melquiades Videl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Donostia in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Iliana in the 13th minute of play forced Tacaaglé's goalkeeper Danilo Hondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tacaaglé's zone, Pastor Iliana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Hondo came out of the goal and Pastor Iliana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Donostia in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Videl saved Mavericks from getting behind. In the 21st minute, Eusebio Peruxu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Hondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Danilo Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Melquiades Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristo Donostia came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Tacaaglé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Donostia couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Dolcet in the 36th minute of play forced Mavericks's goalkeeper Melquiades Videl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Dolcet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Tacaaglé's Cristo Donostia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Videl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Eusebio Peruxu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tacaaglé's Danilo Hondo. Danilo Hondo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristo Donostia was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Bernat to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pastor Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Donostia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Videl having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tacaaglé's goalkeeper Danilo Hondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Danilo Hondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Chorache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Clodoveo Lazcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Hondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Peruxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Danilo Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Peruxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mavericks's Melquiades Videl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Mavericks from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Danilo Dolcet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Videl was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Sanson during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 82 minutes into the match, Pastor Iliana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Hondo. Tacaaglé's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pastor Iliana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Danilo Hondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Iliana, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Pastor Iliana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Hondo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Peruxu went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Mavericks were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tacaaglé for a fine match.
