In the 5th match minute, Docta ED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Guillem to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Agustin Larra made a precise shot to the right of Melquiades Videl. Mavericks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 13thth minute of the game Gavino Solustiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mavericks's Melquiades Videl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Javier Matro charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javier Matro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mavericks booed when Docta ED was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Matro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Docta ED getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Celedonio Olentzaro hit a great ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Pastor Iliana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Docta ED's Feliciano Bilintx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agustin Larra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Melquiades Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Javier Matro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. After 27 played minutes Docta ED got a freekick which was hit by Javier Matro. Melquiades Videl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Larra in the 30th minute of the match. When Rafael Chorache fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mavericks's protests and gave Rafael Chorache a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Chorache. Pastor Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Bilintx having to interfere. Mavericks's Melquiades Videl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Solustiano in the 39th minute of play. Gavino Solustiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Videl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Docta ED's Rigoberto Guillem got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute Urbano Berart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Bilintx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Iliana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pastor Iliana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Ciceron hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Gavino Solustiano struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Melquiades Videl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Docta ED. After 62 played minutes Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Celso Ciceron. The supporters of Docta ED booed when Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Ciceron didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Docta ED got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Larra. A collision led to Mavericks getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Roberto Olayo hit a great ball. Pastor Iliana might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliciano Bilintx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Iliana ran back to his position shaking his head. If Agustin Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mavericks's zone, Celedonio Olentzaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Videl came out of the goal and Celedonio Olentzaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Gavino Solustiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Videl was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mavericks's Pastor Iliana got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
