Spectators: 0 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) Alonzo Raymond started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ulises Policarpio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Goi in the 8th minute of play. If Alonzo Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Lisandro Bastian fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Oscar Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azopardo's Ulises Policarpio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Goi in the 23rd minute of play. Oscar Oier took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Jesco. Damian Jesco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Jonathan Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Bastian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Damian Jesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Oier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Jesco having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Lorenzo Goi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lisandro Bastian was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Lisandro Bastian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Jesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 53 minutes, Alonzo Raymond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gral. San Martín and the Azopardo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gral. San Martín getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Alonzo Raymond hit a great ball. Damian Jesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Bastian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Bastian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Oier in the 69th minute of play forced Gral. San Martín's goalkeeper Damian Jesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lorenzo Goi got free with Ulises Policarpio in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st match minute, Gral. San Martín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Asur to maneuver through the defense. Damian Jesco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Bastian, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Oier in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Jesco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gral. San Martín's Damian Jesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Bastian in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Gaudencio Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Bastian struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Damian Jesco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azopardo. Mauricio Satordi's late challenge caught a Azopardo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Satordi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gral. San Martín's Mauricio Satordi got a free kick in the 85th minute. Azopardo's Ulises Policarpio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Azopardo from getting a goal against them. Lisandro Bastian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Oier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Azopardo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
