After 4 played minutes, Villalonga's Delmar Gutierrez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramiro Oro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villalonga reached it. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Ramiro Oro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 10th minute of the match Delmar Gutierrez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Oro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ramiro Oro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Katia, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Los Diablos de Villa Real's German Mateus got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. German Mateus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 played minutes Villalonga got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Emenon. A collision led to Villalonga getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Teodoro Otsando hit a great ball. Jacobo Felipillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florentino Mitxaut. Villalonga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Villalonga's Florentino Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Mateus in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Villalonga's Teodoro Otsando got a free kick in the 28th minute. German Mateus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If German Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Mateus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Mitxaut having to interfere. In the 40th minute, one of Villalonga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villalonga. The supporters of Los Diablos de Villa Real booed when Villalonga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Emenon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 50 minutes, German Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Diablos de Villa Real's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Mateus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, German Mateus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabricio Astrada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Mitxaut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Villalonga's goalkeeper Florentino Mitxaut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabricio Astrada. When Teodoro Otsando fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villalonga's protests and gave Teodoro Otsando a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Diablos de Villa Real booed when Villalonga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Otsando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, Villalonga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Otsando to maneuver through the defense. If German Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Justo Abarca came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Villalonga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Abarca couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as German Mateus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florentino Mitxaut. That made the score 0-2 in the 73 minute of play. Justo Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Oro having to interfere. Silvio Pacifico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, one of Villalonga:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 91 minutes, Fabricio Astrada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Los Diablos de Villa Real supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Diablos de Villa Real would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
