Spectators: 7031 (Terracing: 5379, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when German Mateus kicked off to start the match. After 6 played minutes Rio de la Plata got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Teofilio. Rio de la Plata's Matias Illart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Mateus in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rio de la Plata defense, German Mateus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Illart. The Rio de la Plata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Illart should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Los Diablos de Villa Real getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Humberto Txartiko hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los Diablos de Villa Real's zone, Tiburcio Brion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Oro came out of the goal and Tiburcio Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Videl in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Oro saved Los Diablos de Villa Real from getting behind. Ramiro Oro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eleuterio Fanuco. The supporters of Rio de la Plata booed when Los Diablos de Villa Real was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Txartiko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Videl struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ramiro Oro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio de la Plata. Rio de la Plata's Matias Illart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Mateus in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Los Diablos de Villa Real's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Videl came free, but Ramiro Oro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fabricio Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Videl to make the kick off. If Fabricio Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Diablos de Villa Real's goalkeeper Ramiro Oro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eliseo Videl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Diablos de Villa Real's Humberto Txartiko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matias Illart. That made the score 0-2 after 62 minutes of play. In the 77th minute Tiburcio Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Oro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Brion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, Rio de la Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Naldo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Rio de la Plata's Edelmiro Teofilio got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute Los Diablos de Villa Real were awarded a corner. Jacobo Felipillo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jonathan Kauldi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matias Illart quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. German Mateus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Los Diablos de Villa Real players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
