After 48 played minutes, Jeanmaire's Tobias Cordera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Nicholas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jeanmaire reached it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Ebardo made a kick off. If Siro Jakes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Beraza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jeanmaire the free kick. Jeanmaire's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Jakes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeanmaire's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
