Geronimo Ayala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timoteo Gorka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Licerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Cirilo Lano kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Geronimo Ayala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sñupi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Geronimo Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Timoteo Gorka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Monasterio's Federico Ramos got a free kick in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Sñupi's Saverio Rojelio got control of the ball when Justino Innocenzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Ayala to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Lisandro Licerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sñupi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Licerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Geronimo Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sñupi's supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Ayala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timoteo Gorka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saverio Rojelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Innocenzio in the 61st minute of the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atletico Monasterio reached it. In the 78th minute, Orlando Aragones made a precise shot to the right of Saverio Rojelio. Sñupi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Club Atletico Monasterio's Orlando Aragones got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Aragones in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Rojelio saved Sñupi from getting behind. Rolando Mundo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Monasterio's zone, Lisandro Licerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Gorka came out of the goal and Lisandro Licerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sñupi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atletico Monasterio.
