The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Phelipe during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hector Phelipe hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Cosme Ixaka charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Ixaka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Darth Vader FC's Cosme Ixaka got a free kick in the 21st minute. Darth Vader FC's Cosme Ixaka got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Cosme Ixaka off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Darth Vader FC's zone, Albino Lamberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Indar came out of the goal and Albino Lamberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Santiago Barros came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Mapaches Aulladores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Barros couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albino Lamberto in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislao Indar saved Darth Vader FC from getting behind. In the 38thth minute of the game Albino Lamberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Darth Vader FC's Ladislao Indar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Omar Hibai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Vicente Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darth Vader FC's Omar Hibai got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Hibai was the one to do the kick off. Ladislao Indar was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Albino Lamberto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albino Lamberto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Omar Hibai charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Albino Lamberto came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Mapaches Aulladores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Lamberto couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Victorio Domeka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Lamberto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ladislao Indar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Lamberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Roque Paublo made a great header on Darth Vader FC's corner, it was just that Mapaches Aulladores's Vicente Niva managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match was over Mapaches Aulladores could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Darth Vader FC throughout the match.
