The supporters of Nono F.C booed when La Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Chago didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, La Academia's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Nicholas came free, but Jose Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Manex in the 18th minute of the match. Aurelio Katia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dionisio Vermudo made a huge save. Jose Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Lidon, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Dionisio Vermudo came out of the goal and Aurelio Katia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelio Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adan Manex came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the La Academia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Manex couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Katia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dionisio Vermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Lidon ran back to his position shaking his head. Guido Tabor hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Pastor Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fernando Nicholas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
