Spectators: 7072 (Terracing: 5472, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Los Mapuches's Matias Goren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hipolito Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Vinicio Refugio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Los Mapuches's zone, Hipolito Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vinicio Refugio came out of the goal and Hipolito Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Hipolito Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cruzada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Refugio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hipolito Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Bitxintxo got free with Gaudencio Ramirez in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 23 played minutes Matias Goren rounded La Cruzada FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Rodrigo Matai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Los Mapuches's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Barbosa came free, but Vinicio Refugio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

55 minutes into the match, La Cruzada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Goren came free, but Gaudencio Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hipolito Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Los Mapuches's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Barbosa came free, but Vinicio Refugio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaudencio Ramirez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Goren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaudencio Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Goren in the 88th minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match, Hipolito Barbosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vinicio Refugio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 96th play minute Hipolito Barbosa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vinicio Refugio. 2-2. La Cruzada FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
