Aurelio Katia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Escobar FC's zone, Aurelio Katia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Clemencin came out of the goal and Aurelio Katia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Academia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Eusebio Hondo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After having played for 27 minutes, Mauricio Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Academia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Luzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cirilo Conrao kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Julian Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Javiar having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Pedro Gaitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escobar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Gaitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Javiar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Arlo went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Julian Arlo made the kick off in the second half. If Aurelio Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Escobar FC's Tobias Clemencin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Manex in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Escobar FC's zone, Adan Manex stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Clemencin came out of the goal and Adan Manex tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Clemencin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Manex in the 62nd minute of the match. Jose Javiar made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Pedro Gaitano sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the game, Igor Menendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Academia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escobar FC the free kick. Julian Arlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jose Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Escobar FC's Augusto Virila got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Mauricio Luzea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Clemencin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Katia in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Clemencin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. La Academia's Jose Javiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save La Academia from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Adan Manex's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Clemencin was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Escobar FC's Tobias Clemencin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Manex in the 93rd minute of play. Tobias Clemencin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Manex's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
