Baldomiro Brun ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Emesto got free with Dionisio Vermudo in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dionisio Vermudo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Emesto in the 16th minute. Joel Emesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Nono F.C's goalkeeper Dionisio Vermudo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Emesto. Nono F.C's Dionisio Vermudo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Nono F.C from getting a goal against them. Dionisio Vermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Brun in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Brun in the 24th minute of play forced Nono F.C's goalkeeper Dionisio Vermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matadores FC's goalkeeper Felix Mon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Vermudo having to interfere. When Eliseo Isusko fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nono F.C's protests and gave Eliseo Isusko a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Nono F.C's Eliseo Isusko got a free kick in the 37th minute. Fernando Nicholas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Mon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Pastor Lidon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Mon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dionisio Vermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Brun in the 46th minute of play. The Matadores FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nono F.C were winning 0-1.
