Edgardo Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Ibar having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Ceferino Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris Saint-Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Shepherd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 minutes, Ulises Sandalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buenos Aires F.C. and the Paris Saint-Germain players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulises Sandalio kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Rodolfo Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Buenos Aires F.C.'s Edgardo Polentzi got a free kick in the 30th minute. Paris Saint-Germain's Emanuel Mosen got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Paris Saint-Germain players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Buenos Aires F.C. were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Polentzi made a kick off. In the 56th minute of the match German Manni shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niceto Ibar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint-Germain's Raimundo Rafel got a free kick in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Emanuel Mosen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Roman Magdaleno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th match minute, Buenos Aires F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Ikatz to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Aznaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buenos Aires F.C. were furious when Joaquin Ikatz was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Buenos Aires F.C.! Ceferino Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Emanuel Mosen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris Saint-Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Mosen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Emanuel Mosen came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Paris Saint-Germain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Mosen couldn't finish the play. After 92 played minutes Buenos Aires F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Sandalio. In the 93rd minute, Raul Nuno sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Buenos Aires F.C.'s Roman Magdaleno didn't even have to move. In the 95th minute Emanuel Mosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Magdaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Paris Saint-Germain's Raul Nuno broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
