Igor Amor dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After having played for 6 minutes, Christian Vincent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maltide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Vincent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Maltide's Eustaquio Lugo got a free kick in the 12th minute. Vinicio Sal's late challenge caught a C.A.River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Sal helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Maltide got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Sal. After a rather tough play, Maltide's Vinicio Sal got a free kick in the 26th minute. Apolo Lope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Ekhi in the 27th minute of the match. Efrain Gaitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Vincent in the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the C.A.River Plate defense, Igor Amor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Gaitano. The C.A.River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Gaitano should have stopped the shot. Igor Amor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Gaitano having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.River Plate's goalkeeper Efrain Gaitano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinicio Ekhi to make the kick off. Christian Vincent did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Efrain Gaitano 55 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Christian Vincent recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Efrain Gaitano. Christian Vincent showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. C.A.River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Christian Vincent scored to the left of an out of position Efrain Gaitano, making the score, 1-5. Fabio Isusko hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Christian Vincent did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Efrain Gaitano 74 minutes into the match. Efrain Gaitano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Amor in the 80th minute. Apolo Lope didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinicio Ekhi went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. If Christian Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maltide's Arturo Beremundo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The C.A.River Plate fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Maltide were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
