Jonasito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Cilio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braulio Esquipula during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jonasito booed when Sagrado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Esquipula didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Braulio Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Semeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edelmiro Reno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Antonio Cilio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Arnulfo Havier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 35 minutes, Braulio Bonifaco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jonasito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Bonifaco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Santikurtz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Reno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Jerico in the 38th minute of play. Braulio Bonifaco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benicio Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Reno having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Cilio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edelmiro Reno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Berto, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A collision led to Sagrado FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Astor Peter hit a great ball. Silvestre Jerico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edelmiro Reno. Sagrado FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arnulfo Havier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Cilio in the 59th minute of the match. Haroldo Berto was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Haroldo Berto hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Jonasito's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Cilio came free, but Arnulfo Havier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Moise's late challenge caught a Jonasito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Moise helped the player get up and apologised. Antonio Cilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonasito's Arnulfo Havier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Cilio in the 94th minute of play.
