Cerveceros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Gizon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 11th match minute, Cerveceros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Bernard to maneuver through the defense. Baldomiro Gai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Frechoso having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Gai in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Frechoso saved Cerveceros from getting behind. Eduardo Frechoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Remigio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Bernard kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The Cululú fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Cululú's Baldomiro Gai looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gervasio Sedeni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Chorache in the 28th minute. When Nemesio Hernandez fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cululú's protests and gave Nemesio Hernandez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cululú's Nemesio Hernandez got a free kick in the 29th minute. Cerveceros's Eduardo Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Gai in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Gai in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Frechoso saved Cerveceros from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Vinicio Gizon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Placido Remigio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cululú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Remigio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Sedeni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomiro Gai made a kick off. Gervasio Sedeni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Loreto in the 52nd minute of play. Eduardo Frechoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Remigio in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Cululú booed when Cerveceros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Urritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Eloy Llope had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Sedeni. Cululú's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Llope was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Placido Remigio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Urritz's late challenge caught a Cululú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Urritz helped the player get up and apologised. Nemesio Hernandez hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes, Cerveceros's Alfredo Feliu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gervasio Sedeni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cerveceros reached it. Baldomiro Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Frechoso having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saul Bernard during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Saul Bernard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Bernard in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Sedeni saved Cululú from getting behind. Baldomiro Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Frechoso having to interfere. Nemesio Hernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldomiro Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Frechoso having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
