Urutaú's Angelo Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Ponc in the 4th minute of play. Ubaldo Ponc struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Angelo Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Makallé. Angelo Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Jaume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Ponc in the 8th minute of play forced Urutaú's goalkeeper Angelo Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Makallé's Leo Paulin got control of the ball when Luciano Tabby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mateo Oxarra hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes of play, Makallé's Baldomero Palben made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 41 minutes, Roman Lucado made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Urutaú's Angelo Cutberto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Roman Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Urutaú's zone, Cosme Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Cutberto came out of the goal and Cosme Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomero Palben was the one to do the kick off. If Baldomero Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
