Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Edgard Dunixi fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loreto's protests and gave Edgard Dunixi a yellow card for diving instead. Edgard Dunixi hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Urbano Dalmau struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Amador Ourente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loreto. Sergio Caradaro made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Melquiades Lalla sent off a good shot on target. Amador Ourente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Gonsalvo in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Loreto's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Melquiades Lalla fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Bernabe Gonsalvo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loreto's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Gonsalvo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Ourente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ycuha AFC's Everardo Jerold got a free kick in the 30th minute. It was beautiful to see Loreto's Cecilio Ospetsu in action when he in the 32nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Rudolfo was the one to do the kick off. Loreto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Gonsalvo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Isaias Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 75th minute of the match Edgard Dunixi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edgard Dunixi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Ycuha AFC booed when Loreto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Dunixi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Loreto's Urbano Dalmau got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, Urbano Dalmau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loreto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Dalmau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernabe Gonsalvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Ourente having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Dalmau got free with Amador Ourente in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Loreto could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ycuha AFC throughout the match.
