When Donato Blanco came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Deportivo Lona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Blanco couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute, Efrain Bittor fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernardino Cresitobalo, passed just outside the right post. Donato Blanco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Bernardino Cresitobalo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paolo Ekain came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Juries FC's Edgardo Galsino. But to his dismay, Edgardo Galsino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Isaac Indalecio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Ekain having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Donato Blanco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Lona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Blanco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Cresitobalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efrain Bittor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bernardino Cresitobalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Hori charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Hori the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Deportivo Lona FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Haroldo Hori hit a great ball. In the 48th minute Isaac Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Ekain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After 70 minutes, Jonas Hibai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Lona FC and the Los Juries FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Juries FC booed when Deportivo Lona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Hibai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Lona FC's Efrain Bittor got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Isaac Indalecio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paolo Ekain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Indalecio in the 79th minute of play. After 84 minutes, Ruperto Derwin mouthed his way into the referee's book.
