In the 18th match minute, Loreto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Dunixi to maneuver through the defense. Urbano Dalmau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorio Loiola during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Loreto's Honorio Loiola got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ermegildo Ramirez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Caradaro having to make a save. Prudencio Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Gonsalvo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loreto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Dalmau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Transito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Caradaro having to make a save. A collision led to Loreto getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Edgard Dunixi hit a great ball. Loreto's Sergio Caradaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Transito in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Romeo Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caroya FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Romeo Transito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Caradaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Jorge Frasquito in the 57th minute really tested Sergio Caradaro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 61st minute Bernabe Gonsalvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ermegildo Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbano Dalmau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Prudencio Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Caradaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Transito, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Prudencio Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Dalmau in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Matias Lekubegi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernabe Gonsalvo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Prudencio Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Bernabe Gonsalvo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loreto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Ermegildo Ramirez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Loreto had won after a very even match.
