Ycuha AFC's Isaias Rudolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chuchi FC's Gogo Azibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Lalla in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Malvin in the 16th minute of play forced Ycuha AFC's goalkeeper Amador Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gervasio Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chuchi FC's Gervasio Fliz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gervasio Fliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Ourente acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 26th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emiliano Hernando. Gogo Azibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Lalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Jaizki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Amador Ourente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eusebio Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chuchi FC booed when Ycuha AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Ostots didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Gervasio Fliz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Amador Ourente to make any attempt to save it. In the 42nd minute, Melquiades Lalla made a precise shot to the right of Gogo Azibar. Chuchi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some careless play in the Chuchi FC defense, Isaias Rudolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gogo Azibar. The Chuchi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gogo Azibar should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Malvin was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Chuchi FC booed when Ycuha AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Ourente came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Chuchi FC's Eusebio Malvin. But to his dismay, Eusebio Malvin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Jaizki during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chuchi FC's Jonathan Jaizki got a free kick in the 65th minute. Eusebio Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Ourente having to interfere. Amador Ourente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Fliz in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Chuchi FC's goalkeeper Gogo Azibar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melquiades Lalla. Isaias Rudolfo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Ycuha AFC's Melquiades Lalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gogo Azibar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Everardo Jerold fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ycuha AFC's protests and gave Everardo Jerold a yellow card for diving instead. Everardo Jerold kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Eusebio Malvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th match minute, Chuchi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Mederi to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
